Northern WE in Tourism

Northern WE in Tourism is an Indigenous-led research collaboration. Working with Indigenous women entrepreneurs in the North, we will recommend pathways to the resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods through tourism.

About 

First Nation, Métis, and Inuit women of Northern Canada represent unique communities with distinct histories, traditions and cultural and social practices. It is their experiences and best practices that inform our study.

Research

Shared stories of lived experiences, best practices and Indigenous worldviews inform pathways travelled to sustainable livelihoods for Indigenous women in tourism in Canada’s North.
